Guardian Ad Litem Appointments
I continue taking Guardian ad Litem appointments today and I especially enjoy the work. I must provide a caveat though, that I do approach Guardian cases, as a Guardian ad Litem, quite a bit differently than if I work for an individual as a private investigator or as compared to a home study provider. The roles are different and I'm placed in a lot of domestic relation roles which wear different hats - for example, I provide supervised visitations to parents requiring it. As a guardian ad Litem, I consider each sides issues and do my best to assist all the parties. I equally investigate issues on both sides, talk to my client, who is the child, and if needed make a recommendation to the court regarding child custody. I attempt to always do this in an unbiased manner based on data and not based on the physical attributes of the parents or which attorney represents them.
